Rancid Sir

No but I think it does prove we have a sense of humour and Jerry is also wearing a skirt ect.......

The chicks are a very sporting team even when losing we don't cheet we don't abuse other players and we are a very freindly team :)

We do hugs, we try our best on the feild and off the feild we are girls.

Yes it is sterotypical outfit but you have to admit we it dose make us worthy of sponsoring and it is in a good cause Why else play in such a get up?

We do take our balling seriously and do feel we are improving our game.

We are a team of real women who love paintball and just for one tourey we are trying to raise money for charity.

There are more and more women playing paintball and deffinatley more since I started and when liz started it was just a hand full.

Do you feel this action demeans us as women or as players ?

sparklie would ya like to sponsor me;)

Do you think that conforming to this male stereotypical view is doing anything to promote the female cause in paintball?

Isn't the idea of dressing up in such a way to do with charity, and collecting as much as they can??? If they do the event in outfits, doesn't even one inch of column space in PGI mean it is pushing forward women in paintball?

Therefore, shouldn't they be applauded for their actions, not questioned as to it's relevance???

Gillie\Sparklie: What's the going rate? 5p for every bruise........ not that I'm tight fisted or anything.......

If they were dressed up in gorilla costumes, or as chickens or as Lambinilookylikeys then I'd agree. But they're not.

If I was a prospective woman paintball player, I'd be turned off - 'oh great more sexploitation. Is this a sport in which I can compete on an equal footing, or is it yet another f in male fantasy kick?' So on that basis, I would completely disagree that this is furthering the cause of women in paintball... in fact I think it's denigrating the whole of paintball.

(and it's not exactly original, is it)
