stains update...

Rob... Yes m8 im positive it was the game against Impact as i was taken on the break that game (well done! lol!) and it was whilst sitting behind the netting in the dead box that I was totally splattered by the stuff.. as i said earlier, immediately after that game I showed it to Liz... before we went onfield for our next game. Maybe the stuff does vary from batch to batch as you say that hits you have had from it wash out ok??

Stains update...stop press!!
One good piece of news... i got some of those new Persil 'fizzy' tablets today and washed it again...the spray marks have faded a good bit more but are still visible. Total treatment so far... machine washed in ariel...applied stain remover spray...soaked overnight in vanish and ariel...scrubbed with a brush...machine washed in ariel... machine washed in Persil 'fizzy' tablets. It looks quite good now tho! :)

Dunno what is with you guys, Have pretty much played a tourny every month for the last 3 1/2 years, Same kit day in and day out, and you know what?

Not a single paint stain. Theres a few of my own, and a few of close friends but no paint stains.
Weird thing is that its mainly M25 players getting stains, is it the southern heat baking it in, or more likely a brand not being used at MM ???

Dunno really, just a point to consider...

Oh and for reference my washing routine is....

Chuck all kit (jersey, pads, battle pack, trousers, gloves) in to the washing machine, chuck in a dollop of persil liquuid stuff, slap some conditioner in the tray (i like my kit nice and soft against the skin), shut the door and stuff it on a 40 degree non colourfast wash. Thats it :)

And still no paint stainage :)

You put your pack in as well?

It obviously doesnt do any damage not even to the velcro?

Just for reference, what pack is it?:)

Yup my pack goes through the machine, always has done...

used to have a Redz pack (ok the velcro did go on that eventually but on the old style belt - bought a new belt all seems fine) and also now an Extreme Rage (well lets face it everyone should have one! :) )

I have an Extreme Rage so this info is good - I will now intrust it to the machine. Thanks:D

Anyone stick their Jacko packs in? My kids use them so want to see if their up to it.

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
My old style jacko and the new eclipse pack have been through
the wash no problem! Don't do it very often but sometimes when its filthy or I can't be ar$ed in it goes. Only on a 30 wash and it comes up lovely! :)
