My fear is that this could be the thin end of the wedge. I can remember playing Mayhem in the old days when it was "site paint" only, and having to pay around £95 for a case of 2500. At that time you could pick up a case of 2000 for about the same as now (around £40) in any shop without any kind of team deal or sponsorship. So even allowing for the difference in the number of balls in a case, that was still nearly twice the price!

Baca sent me a pretty good solution to the problem. I'll let him spill the beans.

Liz don't worry it aint ever going that way. The vendors have to fight for the players' business so you always get to make the choice. In my experience paint prices are cheaper at the m/s than anywhere else.

At this moment you are self appointed. Well meaning, but you need the mandate of the players you you have forced your representation on. When you have that support you can give me and the rest of the Mill board as much sh1t as you like.
When I joined the EPA I perfectly understood that there were no bylaws yet and that I was giving my confidence to the three guys that were sitting on the Board. No bylaws mean that it's one of their duties to come up with some sound ones, which hopefully will include a way to democratically elect the governing body.

Since that was the situation then (and it is the same now), my choosing had to go from not joining the EPA or join it and thus support Piper, Goose and Mimie. I stand now by the decision I made then. I elected them to represent me before the Millennium Series and probably some other events too.

I hope, and I'm sure that will come, there will be bylaws soon and we'll have our chance to elect the govern body but as of now, I've done my election already. And anyone who has by now joined the EPA must have done the same rationale or didn't care too much about what she was doing.
