The etek4 seems to be my main choice, as for the bottle i tend to not like the actual bottle on the marker, i will have to try it and see if its comfortable. My tank is steel and weights more then a normal 20oz co2 so it almost weights more then the actual marker when full so may make it back heavy, especially if i upgrade the tank

Does anyone else use speedball with a remote line?

I have seen a couple of people do it. You can get a T-stock that fits to the marker ASA. If you're upgrading your bottle, get a fibre wrapped one. They are a lot lighter. Spend the change on a second hand Etek 3.

A 1.1 fibre wrap bottle will be lighter than a steel 0.8

dont get me wrong i know second hand markers work and often are great but i'd rather have new. no reason for it, its more of an impulse for me, i never buy seconds i just cant get myself too, unless it was a really good price. If i upgrade i will go for a fibre wrapped tank. i think i will go for the SAFER tank, i will post a link below. Its 1.5L: 4500psi and only £159.99 which is good but their also the lightest air tanks around. i hadnt even heard of them untill a couple of days ago. Hopefully they will fit into my belt or fit nicely onto my marker.

i wasnt sure if that had the regulator or not thanks for clearing that up for me. I know their rather big, well for their storage their not. I dont mind paying it though. I read reviews with the etek and they get around 1600-1800 shots from a 4500psi 1.1l bottle so a 1.5l should get around 2000+ shots which is plenty enough to not need to fill the tank atall

Planet markers are pretty bomb proof and you wont be disappointed. Dye marker I find tend to need a bit more TLC but again great guns. For ergonomics and feel in the hand the Dye NT is hard to beat.

Remember carrying 2000 paintballs can be heavy and limit your movement, I would guess most players take around 4-6 pods and a full hopper out with them so around 1000-1100. I only carry more if the game demands it i.e. your defending an area for a long time and maybe also take spare bottle with me.

Most tourney markers should return approx 1200-1600 shots from a 1.1ltr 4500 fill.

i normally take out around 800 on me if i use my smaller 6 pots, if its something like defending a fortress or a long running re-spawn game i will sometimes take my larger 140 shot pots. The main trouble i have is the dive bottle gets used quickly or often wont have much left in it. its been filled twice and could only get my tank to 2k which isnt much of an issue but if it can only get it to that then the larger tank will be better in case the dive bottle goes quickly. I love dye, i have their jersey, goggles etc. but their markers seem to be a lot more and the proto reflex i've seen need much more TLC and many have found the solenoids go very quickly which is an expensive replacement. I will definetly be going for the dye rotor, that does look bomb proof, i mean it still worked after being melted and submerged in water.

i do like the programming on the etek, it looks much simpler then on the etha. im looking at the proto reflex, its more then both the etha and etek and the programming doesnt seem very good
