I forgot to say - you may get paint soup with a cocker with that kind of rof, but with any electro with an eye/anti chop system you won't.

liz, i was only saying i couldnt make sence of people putting an electric frame on a cocker with the intention of speeding it up.
i am fully aware other markers are capable of more. ive seen an e-mag reach over 20bps (mr sosters to be exact) but again, it wasnt during a game.
at the end of the day if someone is hitting your baracade with 10 bps, and not 20 bps, you dont feel any safer. it still performs the same job doesnt it??
maybe at a running target it helps, but not hugely. at 10-15bps if you cant hit em, you are very unlikely do it at 20bps.

Note I said "HIT a running target", not "shoot at". I was always taught that the theory is that you fire a little ahead of the player, & they run into your paint stream. Still means the closer the balls are, the more chance of them being hitOriginally posted by Baca Loco

Thinking of ROF (Rate of Fire) in terms of the distance between balls in a paint stream, if the velocity is 300fps and the markers going 10bps then there is a 30 foot gap between shots
That sounds a lot until you think they cover those 30 feet in one tenth of a second which is how long you have to run between the balls if you're being sweet-spotted
If the markers going 15bps then there's only a 20 foot gap giving you 0.066 seconds to pass through the same space without getting hit

The other point of view is that four back players sweetspotting at 15-20 bps is like having an extra marker on the field on the break out - accuracy by volume ;o)

yeah but to be able to shoot 20 bps you nedd to be able to pull the trigger 20 in one second its impossible
