thanks liz

It'll be cool if it all comes off. Just a pity I may find myself working more closely with a bunch of throwbacks who eat their chips with gravy. Still, I'm prepared to sacrifice it all for the sake of paintball. A bit like Jesus, but with only one angel and my beard's not as good.

Yes Paul - H-PAC already on board & sup'air only, & hopefully proper sports arenas for at least most of them if not all.

Mr Big - DO keep any suggestions coming, I know she does appreciate them though it might not be possible to do everything that everyone wants, specially not in the first year.

Where have you been???

Hi Guys,

I've just come across this thread and some of the content surprises me. The SWPL is in its third successful season and we've had some fantastic tournaments in the South of England. Most of the SWPL tournaments have been around the Bristol area (which is the South of England if I'm not mistaken) and we've enjoyed top quality and a great atmosphere at all of these events.

So, to say that the Southern paintball scene has been falling to pieces is a bit mistifying. Have any of the people who have said this attended any SWPL events? If so, then I can but guess why they would have this opinion.

Anyway, to the point - about three or four months ago the SWPL organisers, myself and Rob Berry, decided that next season we would be branching out of the South West peninsular and holding several events within our series in the Southern counties of the UK.

We have been aware that Sparkile has had plans for the M25 the whole time and have kept this in mind when making our plans for next year. We believe the M25 league is the missing link in UK paintball and fully support it - last thing we would want to do is tread on Sparlies toes. However, as Lexus and Ledz have said, there is room for more paintball in the central south region and we're already securing venues to make sure that this gap is filled.

So, the plans and preparation are already in place to increase the validity of Southern UK paintball. With the M25 series and our own plans for 2003, all looks good. Lexus were right to bring this subject up, but I think I can reassure everyone that people dedicated to good paintball are already working on it.

Responses, opinions and comments are all welcome.

If bully's behind this then it bound to be a runner.

Being a southern team ourselves we have always played up tut north because of the quality of teams there and the organization is first class.

well worth backing

ledz, wot sort of venues have you/bully got in mind.
