Hi Everyone,
For years and years the lads playing in the north have been quite envious of the tourneys down south, but now its pretty piss poor. Steve Bull has turned the northern series 2002 into the best tournament series in the UK. The other day i was talking to some of the southern players on Nexus over a few cheeky pints and they said that it's falling to bits down south and the best events they have played this year (outside the Millennium) have been in the series 2002. So the conversation turned to Bully running a mirror like series in the South of England. The lads on Nexus who had been playing for different teams said it was a good idea.
So what do you lot think?
One of the things that makes the northern series 2002 work is that the teams that play in the league also judge the league and there are also legs that are self-judge (i.e. you judge 2 or 3 games while you are on a bye) This way the events are cheap, and have no problems getting judges... But would you judge? You don't do it for free Steve pays quite handsomely (Well for the north anyway)
8 events different venues around the south, Pretty much all Supair (He’s got at least 4 fields I know about) Air Supplied (And you can get 4500psi), Trophies galore and an end of season presentation night.. Sounds Good?
Post your feelings & thoughts, let Bully know and he might take up the challenge. Or you could keep on moaning about it and playing crap ball !!
