Feck me ! fifty notes for a few scratches ? I could have made a killing buying and selling all that gear in the past 
But then, im not an arse that would take advantage of an un-experienced member of the forums, and new players, because it would kill the very sport we love.
I've seen players leave the sport within the first year they start playing for the very same sort of reasons we have in this thread, they lack confidence when first starting out, mainly due to not wanting to upset a community they wish to be part of...
The mods are doing a great job, looking out for idiots who want to make a quick buck.
If the mods were not so lenient, i have this feeling these boards would be full of scammers and players crying all day long.

I'm not telling you to do anything, I don't get involved with disputes and modderating, I am just giving some friendly advice on what would be the best way for you to resolve the situation for everyones best benefit, including you, as for how you proceed is entirely upto you...
All I am trying to say is handle it like a gentleman. Quit with the backtalking posts and handle it maturely. You know if you had got some pictures of the damage when asked, a mod may have looked at it instantly and said "yea, thats way worse than described in the post, £50 is fair", but by arguing about it and refusing to provide anything to back up your claim doesn't help your side of the story.
Some humility and apologies may go a long way, as I said, i'm not telling you to do anything, but in the eyes of the community, doing what is right goes a long way in such a tight knit sport. How you proceed and any repurcussions are between you and the mods who have gotten involved, so have a hard think about which side of the fence you would like to be sitting on when they wake up
Smart Parts Kid just a little advise the more difficult and aggressive you become with mods on this site the less sympathy and help will come your way. Not having a go at you just stating an observation.
The mods on this site have done a good job to protect players and yes at times they may seem pushy but they do the best they can do and do it for the good of all of us (including you).
My perception is yes you did get a good will gesture of £50, however to me it does seem excessive for a few scratches. You got the £50 due to not fully understanding the description and you weren't happy, well it seems zeb has misinterpreted your description about what the money was for so how about a little community spirit and show a little goodwill back. £20 to zeb isn't much considering you still have gained £30 in refund (which is £30 more then anyone else would get). However if you do prove us wrong with suitable pictures then I apologise in advance.
I personally will only buy a marker once I have seen it and put a little paint in it. This is due to knowing that on the internet you buy as seen, and pictures do not show every little dent or scratch, and I'm aware that you buy the marker as "seen". I would say that the only reason you should have contacted zeb is if the marker was not as described i.e. not the same gun, not working or in the case of "tiny" a complete scam. However I don't think zeb scammed you, I think he was being kind, show a little kindness back.
Once this is resolved you will be able to move on and soon people won't care what happened, but you only have to look at what happened to "tiny" to know what happens with people who don't resolve things amicably (oh and btw I do not even suggest that it is on the same level).

So you are going to do exactly what I advised or you called threatened (for some reason) you to do at the very beginning of this.
Do you remember when I advised you to make a good will gesture as you didn't need anything repairing after all as you had made out to Zeb and £25 would be fair enough for some minor scratches.

SPkid, it must be somewhat bewildering, and I suppose quite annoying to have soo many people seemingly picking on you but there is a slither of silver lining to be gleaned from all these 'attackers' [me included].
Sometimes we become entrenched in our positions that we lose sight of what's fair and reasonable ... and so, you end up digging that proverbial hole waaaay too deep and you end up in a place that does nobody any good, least of all yourself.
That said, I think the fact soooo many people have reacted, and reacted with a common indignation, this alone should give you a hint as to where the root of the problem lays.
In this sense, if you do manage to take an outside look at what's going on, you will see an overwhelming response against what you have done.
Now, prior to all this bollocks, nobody knew you ... and now a lot do, but this is another hint to what's really going on because why on earth would we all pick on you if we don't even know you?

Yes i did send £50 for repairs and to make him "happy" because i come here to learn, get equipment, and make friends.
I have sold one other marker on this site, and with the help of LUMP he gave me advice on what the marker was.
I've only played one proper tourniment. Mostly because i get nervous and i suck?
And for the reason it looks like "I'e left it to the mods" is because ive had the flu, had exams and personal **** at home.
What i dont get personaly is why there are no pictures? There are many ways to upload pictures... webcam, USB, Bluetooth, printer/scanner.
Robbo as i gave you my number just incase you need to get hold of me, please use it again because there might be a chance i wont be on for the next few days/week's

Also Zeb is a member of the Brotherhood, one of our new bloods.
This means ripping Zeb off is ripping Brotherhood off, a 20 stong paintball fraternity, which isnt a great idea..........
