Matt (jahlad), is near to god status.
But is too nice to admit it.

Hope everything's well mate.

One way to stop all the thefts, is the age old "pod bitch" A spare player who looks after and organises gear between games. better than a rotwieller, and usually has a slightly higher iq....lol

if the board was tied to the thumbprint and the the solenid to the board then it would work. i.e. for the board to work it must be activated by a correct thumbprint. For the solenoid to work it must be the corresponding board that activivates it. Not too sure about how to get to work but im sure it could be done somehow, there's also a simpler way im sure.
:D

but what happens if you wanna lend your gat to someone ;)

i guess at the end of the day i think everyone needs to take a bit more precautions for their gear if they feel they need to. stuff is always gonna get stolen its just thinking of ways to remove temptation perhaps

Thats what I thought, possibly have part of the board on (or in) the solenoid housing. But again, aftermarket boards would need to get permission to copy the whole shebang, or somehow program the footprint from an official gun serial to make sure you aren't purchasing a board for a stolen marker

at the end of the day, look after your gear. Every team has a spare player, or should have, use them.
QFT.

Lovetone. it would work the same way as a laptop. you scan your thumb and it allows access to anyone whilst in use, but if left idle it goes into a locked mode...

But yea what tom says.

on mobile phone they are now putting locating devices so you can track them within 200 miles of your location that would be helpful as you would know where your gun is and when i lose it in the hous i might find it quicker than normal
