This thread has so far confused me loads with it's vagueyness..(Vagueyness protected by Patent owned by P&S)

What *exactly* is the issue here when you say "Smart parts can't ship guns" Does this meas they can't produce? That they as a company are being closed down? Or just that they can't ship them out of their factory?.....where's the rumour come from, I can't find a reference anywhere but here!

I think the main point is, if a marker has a reprogrammable microprocessor controlling the function of their marker, then they fall under the patent owned by NPF (WDP).

Which most top end markers have.

depends on if it's a blanket 'No More' or a 'you can sell your current production run' ala AKA.....

means sp have got to get a license from wdp if they wan to sell any marker that use wdp patented technology, and if they sell with out one the authorities will get involved. There boned basically.
