I know some of you've had to have heard of this one. I just got the new catalogue and the "nerve" has some odd features I've never heard about, or the're just embellishing normal words to the point where I dont understand what they are saying. "patented electronic control delivers fire rate of 20+bps" are they talking about a brand new type of electronic control i.e. new board architecture, or are they just embelishing on what the E-mag can do already? Also, has anyone seen the new Shocker? Its amazing! they reduced the size where once there was a trapezoidal 3 tube design to a single tube. Where did the dual solenoids go???

Taking a look at the 2k3 shocker, would say to me, closed bolt.

The marker has been made for the 2003-2004 era where we expect to see some advances and not just the same marker jazzed up with 1 part etc.

The demand for the ultimate gun, or atleast something that can stand a fighting chance is the goal of Smart Parts now.

All there new markers are now becoming extremly cosmetic, with the fades introduced as a major part last year. Now its all the chrome and accessories with these guns that make em look schweet ass. :D

Closed Bolt...

It does use closed bolt (The new Shocker that is...)... But they redesigned the whole sytem and made it happen with only 1 tube and a single soleonid instead - Actually they could have called it "Shocker 2", but just didn't ;)

The only thing I don't really understand is why the didn't replace the Impy with the nerve, but suppose it's because the Impy is a bestseller...

Yeah, Impulse's do rock, i love mine.

Its just that the Nerve is megabux compared to the impy, and one of the impulse's good points is a good gun for lower price.

Best keepin the Nerve as a high end impy sorta thing

I think they plan to have these 3 markers...

Shocker
Nerve
Impulse

Wonder if they'll sell many Nerves unless its price range is considerable less than the Shocker - Otherwise I know what I would go for (And it isn't the Nerve hehe)

And yes - The Impy is soo sweet!!
