Try defining gravity feed. Besides, force feed loaders are a reliability issue - gravity feed is bad because it negatively impacts reliable operation. Sometimes you'll get a shot when you pull the trigger, sometimes not.
You either have to allow ramping and have a means of enforcing it (PACT timers etc) or be sem-auto only and have certified boards. Those are the only two options other than having rules on paper nobody has to follow.
Fair game mate but arnt eyes suppose to stop the gun firing without a ball but anyway gravity feed bad point how about non force feed then or just Limit the loader as the gun cant fire that quick no matter what mode its in if the balls arnt getting in the gun
Problem with rof came in only when the HALO came about never heard about it with revy's
Easy to check as well if a loader has been mucked about with as you can pull it off stick it over a bag and see how quick the thing can go if it takes the piss ban the twat
You make the loader companies put something on their loaders that would require breaking a seal to adjust or putting a board in it with NXL for NXL millenium for millenium etc
Loaders are a lot easier to make standard than markers as you are allways going to get people mucking with their gun to get more out of it causing probs with bounce or ramping ROF etc and there are fewer loaders than markers on the market
the loaders look the same and a ref will spot an alteration a lot easier
limit them and then let people do what they want with their gun so they can fire 20 bps for a sec and then wait for the loader to catch up or 15bps all the time
if a player has a dodgy loader then he may not realise when playing that he is ripping his gun for longer than should and then catches himself out
with ramping and rof cheats they know when they do it and they often have a way of disabling a mode on the quick
with the loader the guy will have to take his hand off his gun and touch his loader to adjust or turn off which again a ref will spot a lot easier than the guy with the magnet in his glove
I hear the reliability bit though and running and gunning may become a thing of the past as well as balls will be going up and down the feed tube like crazy
