Guys, I am in the process of building a case for more reasons than the one of the event being changed, dates are being checked with the organises and the other authorities, So case details i cannot go into exact details of.

I’ve reread it and I’m not sure what I’ve got wrong.
Is there an issue with me saying the OP suspects a bait and switch has been pulled?

Unless I’ve misinterpreted the post completely and Simon Cort doesn’t think a bait and switch has been pulled, then I don’t get where shoreline has been telling lies. AFAIK it was part of the terms and conditions that operational requirements might result in Sennybridge being suddenly unavailable.

Presumable the letter from the MOD and the insurance / licensing docs would be evidence to prove that shoreline had never intended to hold TCUK at Sennybridge, hence why Simon Cort is after them.

Im not trying to put words into peoples mouths here.

EDIT: didnt see simons post above this, fair enough!

Seems slightly far fetched to me - but if anyone wants to put the legwork into double checking, I'd suggest ringing the campsite that was to be used for TCUK ( http://www.bishops-meadow.co.uk/index.php/ct-menu-item-13 ) and asking if they had a big booking for 19-21st July that has been cancelled, when the booking was made and when it was cancelled. Should sort any conspiracy theories.

Well, that's exactly what you're doing and yes I'd say you have misinterpreted the post. Simon didn't mention bait and switch, Chuckwood did (in a joke).

Well i apologise then, think i probable got that word stuck in my head and ran with it when rereading the original post  what’s the purpose of the MOD letter and insurance documents then?

I’m not sure where the lies are, but fair enough - not offering any refunds now the venues 200 miles from the original is pretty ****ty

What absolute nonsense.

You do know TC2013 isn't the only event to be canned at Spennybridge due to "Urgent Operational Requirements"?

This is quite clearly a case of Robbo vs Shoreline - and once again Robbo will come out of this looking foolish.

This really is quite pathetic and highlights all that is wrong in paintball.

:(

(Oh, and I do expect this post to be deleted).
