Tom, i don't think there's anything fishy going on with regard to the cancellation issue with barnett. The cancellation was brought about because the MOD require emergency securement of all their properties if there are 'special circumstances' which in this case meant Sennybridge became unavailable. The 'special circumstances' in this case is a possible political/defense situation bubbling away in Syria.
The defence mob are on alert basically for the next couple of months or so.
barnett had no control regarding the securement order but he may be bull-****ting re the notice he was given but i don't for sure what notice he had.
But... Even though barnett may not be pulling a stroke (there's a first for everything it seems) he most certainly is pulling a stroke regarding refunds. At the moment, he's not sufficiently capitalised to have much wriggling room and so this clear paint that Simon Cole has supplied (for Sennybridge) has to be paid for due to a contracted purchase order. This explains barnett's refusal to give people refunds .. He's strapped for cash.
But ... The expense exposure of Sennybridge has been significantly reduced now it's at Holmbush but that's a benefit that barnett wants to shove in his back pocket.
People deserve their money back, that's a no-brainer but more than that, it's the right and fair thing to do ... For normal people anyway.

.
I know - I'm in the mod. I'm not making any comments with regard to circumstances in the mod

I was just making an observation rather than have the thread go onto another tangent, other factors may be relevant if things lead to a legal case & it does not matter if people ask for or get to see documents outside of a case. If it goes legal then everything required will be provided,
or be in contempt

Tom, you'll be aware (i presume) of the site procurement order and of course the reason why it was issued and while you may not be able to say why it was procured, i can.
barnett's legal exposure is gonna be restricted to 'fair custom and practice' of which he is seemingly in breach of by refusing to refund people.
The problem lurking in the background for barnett is he cannot afford anyone sniffing too deeply into his 'affairs' ... He could have been a naughty boy in the past, ya just never know !

Edited by Robbo - Understand that ding-dong!

I will be inserting some interesting dialogue in this section later that will maybe enlighten others as to the character and type of relationships barnett's boys indulge in ... I'll try and get it typed up by tomorrow .. it should make interesting reading.
By the way, as to why I deleted his post - it irked me, sh!t sometimes does that ya know, it irks .. and so, you have to clean the cr@p out now and again .. but it's ok in this event because coalthief isn't really a man, or even an approximation to one ... and so he forgoes any due privileges generally entitled to human beings ..

Edit by Robbo - Below is Dusty's response to coalthief's post that got nuked .. sorry guys but it had to be done !!

Considering you came on here making incorrect assumptions about "edited evidence" I think it's fair to say you're really only here to cause friction as opposed to contributing to the thread given the general tone of your posts.

You make a lot of assumptions. You also appear to be associated with Ambush paintball going by the pimping you're doing on your profile page. For free.

I keep asking myself, if people are so offended by these posts why do they insist on reading this forum? We don't twist anyone's arm to be here.

Flap, childish maybe, I suppose it depends upon your perspective, and from my perspective as forum owner, you forego the privileges normally assigned to members if they dance with the devil.
p8ntballer.com, whether you like it or not, is not a publicly ran endeavour, we have mods to police the forums and for the most part, we do a good job in oiling the wheels of paintball and maintaining the integrity and financial safety of our members.
I don't know how much I have ended up giving our members money for dosh they have been scammed, it's not thousands I know but it's in the hundreds for sure ... if I get something wrong on my site, then at least accuse me of something that warrants a post like yours ...
P8ntballer.com is my property, I own it just as I own anything else ... I keep out of the everyday running as much as I can and my mods keep it going for me. If someone pisses me off, the internet is such that I can't grab hold of him and pull him back through my monitor to face me, I have to deal with scum, in different ways .. and one way is, by doing something that can piss them off .. and deleting his post is just one of those things ... And here you come, on my forum, telling me what I should and should not do all according to your own moral code.
Well excuse me for not agreeing with you but I live in the real world, and in the real world, possession is nine tenths of the law ..and so do you sense where this may be leading?
Good, I'm pleased for you ... and now, you can run along and not bother me again ... unless of course, you wish to be considered in a different light, which of course is your prerogative.

Think of it as a pub, if robbo was the landlord he can bar who he likes for any reason, this is the same.

Iv not been on here for too long so i dont know what this is all about but what i can say is the mods do a good job on this forum so why should they be getting any stick?

Keep up the good work :)
