shooting out the left with your right hand

I'm right handed but when I shoot out the left hand side, I hold the gat in my left hand tucked into my left shoulder but walk the trigger with my right hand as normal, works well and still keeps your profile tucked in.

If you don't get shot and it works for you why is it wrong, its a personal preference, but you MUST switch hands and shoulders!!

yeh i agree with rentonc, i shoot left with my right hand walking, its faster to switch, the profile is the same and you can continue to rip with your superior hand.

i was learning to do it "properly" untill i saw a couple of pros doing it the same way, i figure it obviously hasnt effected thier play.

why do you think its less accurate rosie??

there is a slight gain in accuracy due to the fact that you would be using your right "good" hand for aiming as you hold the foregrip/inline.
So just practice aiming and you will end up just as good if not better.

feels very strange to me to use my right hand on the reg, but maybe thats just me, im prolly less ambudextrous than most. i look like a retard trying to count on his fingers if i try and walk with my left hand

You are doing the pointing and steadying with you best hand aren't you, otherwise you are saying you are more accurate with you left hand effectively.

it's just the way I was taught
played for 4 yrs like that it's hardly a bad habit! I was forced to learn to do it properly, no offence to you but I think it's the best way
I'm fast on either hand, & can swap hands

to practise, do cone drills where you have to walk up the field, a line of cones each side, switch and shoot each cone on each side with the opposite hand

after a bit try & do it fast as you can

after a bit put the cones behind barricades & try & run the entire field, switching to shoot each obstacle out

being able to swap hands while running will help you while mugging or bunkering

i've got to admit that when I run shooting from the left I walk the trigger with my left fingers and it is a lot easier. But if I'm behind a bunker it makes no odds.

yeh i think i am (better aiming with left) tbh lol, but its how i've always held a gun so i suppose it may only be because i have more practice that way.
played recball for years before aswell where in my noobness i would hold the marker exactly the same way which ever direction i was shooting so i wouldnt have had any practice aiming with my right hand.

i spose you could argue that if you always walk with the same hand and always aim with the same hand you can hone these skills better. if you switch and change your only getting half the practice

yeh but with this way you are still changing shoulders as you would, its just a case of lifting and rotating the bottle to the other shoulder, its not like always shooting on your right shoulder. :]

shoot with your right hand / left side then try and run and gun...

I depends on whether you only want to shoot out of the bunker to supress/shoot people, or to supress them to allow you to move...

THIS IS EXACTLY MY POINT!

i ve looked at myself do it... the profile is the same
and i can shoot faster...

ohh not to mention i can also shoot streigther (sp) and run with my gun.
