1--If I knew anything about the incident, I would tell you, but I honestly don't, and so can't help you.
2--Your assumption that you have a right to know may be hindering your chances of finding out.
3--Did you try calling and asking mano-a-mano, or did you send a snidey e-mail?
4--Your methods are not always as subtle as the next guy, and face it, if they don't want to tell you then they don't have to.
2--I'm not assuming anything. Camille has, more than once, stated any questions regarding the NPPL, events, etc. should be sent directly and not asked in public forums as public forums won't be replied to. I have addressed numerous emails on the subject to Camille who--not being in a position to answer them herself--assured me they were forwarded to the appropriate persons. I won't post the emails but I assure they were harmlessly polite--even if the subject was distressing.
Beyond that, I am, in a small way, a member of what presently constitutes PB media and if the NPPL or any other organization involved in PB imagines they are above scrutiny they are sadly mistaken. Or that similar scrutiny won't escalate as PB gains a larger public face they are naive. In that regard they should perhaps review how real sports leagues handle difficult issues--usually by trying to get out in front of them...hint, hint.
3--feel free to ask anyone in NPPLWorld for a copy of any of my emails on the subject assuming they weren't deleted post haste. I won't post them here but I have no problems with them showing you if they choose to do so.
4--if the best answer you can come up every time things get tough is they're a private company and they don't have to you undercut the goodwill and faith of the playership. If you and they can't see that, well . . .
