sorry but to me, this sounds like its some kinda plot being acted out. like it reminds me of wrestling. i sure as hell hope the guy just had a rush of blood to the head, coz paintballing cannot do wiv stories like this. something just seems kinda dodgy about it.
There's no way this is cheating in the classic sense. Nobody's that stupid. If I read the scoreboards right, Avalanche had won every game up to that point. And one or two teams made it through with one loss.

Jeez. This really surprised me. I did not expect this sort of behavior from Jeremy Salm. Maybe some other people, but not him.
Who knows what happened? We can only guess at his motivations. I doubt the rest of the team was in on it though. Salm may have been benched because he was ill, but that's only what they tell us. Often, a statement like that is a methaphore which really means that the person had a huge fallout with the team's management, and as a consequence has to sit out some games.

I also wonder what this will do for the standings of the other teams in Lanche's division. Obviously the teams that were scheduled to play Avalanche after this incident get an automatic max, like the game was a forfeit, but that would not be completely fair to the teams that have already played Lanche. Will their results, whatever they may be, win or loss, become automatic maxes as well? Does anybody know?
The games after GZ were Jax, Cartel and Strange.
For all of them it wouldn't have matter if they got the max or not to thier position (other than seeding)

Not sounding like im defending anyone but, Avalange i rate stil as a world leading team in paintball, they are amazing to watch and have won many tournies, i agree with previous posts, i think that the truth of wat actually happened wil come out soon! then we will understand!!!

a) Avalanche did know what Salms plan was, talk about a lame excuse Salm gave to the rest of lanche guys.
b) Remember Salm´s and Lasoya discussing (That was i read about, not sure off this) in campaign cup, is there more here that we know. For ex. Salm was booted off by the lanche guys, and he went for the payback?
Just my 2 cents because I really don´t believe and don´t want to believe that some off the lanche guys would go for a stunt like this.

I tell ya, I think 'Lanche are the business, always have and this stunt, as bad as it is made me piss myself when I heard it. I don't get why they did it coz they can tear **** up against any team in any league worldwide, they really have tried everything this season to win games and stamp a nice little bad boy tag to their name. Maybe they will fold it all up and concentrate on X-Ball next year and just wanna say f'k you to Braun and co. Who knows. One thing is though, no matter how good some games were or how sweet an event it was we will all be talking about 'Salm the sniper' and Avalanche for quite some time.
