i think its cos he want deep down to be mates with robbo and rub sholders at the top level but doesnt have the means so another way to be known by pll is to hurl verbal at pete and be known as the person who argues with robbo.....

....plus...ppl knowing pete know hes a bit razor sharp....so the presume that the guy fightin him must be too to keep up and not look a fool.....the reality is....he looks a fool

Quite possibly...I'm still trying to figure out why Robbo respects me at all. Lord knows I've disagreed with him in the past, and I'm sure there are issues that we could disagree on now! For the record, I like Robbo, and I recognize his contributions to the sport and give him the proper, deserved respect for it. Raehl gets respect from me as well, not because he fights Robbo, but because he's perceived a problem (sandbagging) and he's trying to correct it (APPA Registration System) and it appears to be working. It takes all kinds to make this thing happen, and it's all good.

I just wrote (and then deleted) a big long post. I'm gonna wait a couple of days and see what happens with all this debate.

Agreeing in general principle, the wise one is right: Intelligence without Wisdom is a nightmare just waiting to blossom.

I went against my better judgement and went back and read this and the other thread in their entireties. I will say this for the time being: When possibilities that ooze obviousness are apparently omitted in their entirety from consideration, it smells funny. That smell is harder to ignore when alternate possibilities, that require a leap of faith (or perhaps "anti-faith"), are clung to instead.

I hate to see that kind of thing.
