I have a Barnet Wrecking Crew patch tucked away somewhere...as back in the day some of us sad buggers wore MA1 jackets covered in patches

I got loads of them wanna buy 'em very cheap:D

I 'erd it was the 'Nam Wreckin Crew' patch that everybody wanted, the Barnet one was apparently just a poor imitation :)

You sure? I always thought it was the Short Timers badge that was the difficult one to get ;) ...yet another 'nam reference team. Was there even a Nam Wreckin Crew badge...ok a good few tatoos around and t-shirt of two...I do remember seeing a badge of kinds embroidered into cammo but not a badge on its own.

Oh yeah we had two sized badges, one about 12 inches diamter and the other about 4 inches diameter, in fact, in the early editions of Eastenders, Adam Woodyeat (Ian Beale) used to wear one of our badges on his coat, that was kinda weird I suppose that they let him wear that stuff but hey, we weren't bitching :)

I saw the patch yesterday again, Addie from (Turks, Shockwave) NWC played yesterday with his kids, and he wore all his old camo, used the green NWC Evoluiton cocker, and smoked a load of punters in the woods, even though he hadnt played in 5 years! He looked like a killer player! Didnt seem rusty at all, and the gun, even though it hadnt been used in 5 years worked superbly straight out of his bag! Cockers.....hmm.....nice.......:D

Ok ...didn't know there was stand alone patches for NWC the large one was the back patch..yes? I knew Adam had all the paintball badges on his jacket and it struck me as strange that the producers let him wear the jacket too. I'm not sure but I think he had one of my old teams patches on the jacket aswell.

As for all these old badges, I think a pic thread is in order so some of these young pups can see how things have changed...and Line SI Bushmaster patches and Phantom ones don't really count but then if we didn't allow those patches then no one could post a pic of the Paintball Games Magazine patch ;) and I bet there is a huge stash of those in Colchester :D :D

The Barnet one's we used to sell buy the bag full and put the money in the team funds.

The Nam ones were strictly for players only and few chosen sponsors.

Have you still got the Nam flag pete ?
