Re the latest Man Utd visit, the young lady pictured is Shalane. As well as working for our head office accounts department (midweek) at that time, she is also works in the shops of some of our centres at weekends, hence why she isn't dressed for marshalling. :)

Markie, i'm not trying to twist anything. Unfortunately, the more my comments are nit-picked to try to discredit me, the more indepth explanation i feel have to give to support what i originally said, or else look a total twat, as a few ppl on P8 don't seem to mind doing.

Yes i did post about playing tourney whilst pregnant - It was at a time in 2004 when p8ntballer.com forums were as dull as doggies do-do's. The post did what i intended it to do, it got a debate going and engaged some people, including 5 mods, in thought provoking arguement for a change.

To set the record straight, I have 2 kids and 2 grandkids. Having played both tourney and rec i am aware of the risks and the last thing i would have done is play whilst pregnant.

BUT maybe all pregnant ballers won't think like me. There was/is no provision in tourney rulebooks to provide for pregnant ballers - either to allow them protection to play safely or to ban them. It's only as a sport grows and encompasses a wider player base (in our case, young females) that the powers that be need to look at the existing rules and revise them where necessary.

If anyone wants to read the old thread it's here: Playing tourney whilst pregnant? and any thoughts on the topic are best posted these to get this thread back on the topic on 'punter paint'.
