very nice Mike - I saw that on ebay, does it hold air? If so don't take it to bits, I've heard they are a nightmare for leaks (wonder if that's were they got the name from).

It needs a full strip and clean & yes it leaks,i never get that lucky when buying old guns.

The cup seal can be flipped over Mike and may cure a leak from that area

Picked up a very nice fully original Sniper II,striped cleaned it and other than a wee bit of brown oily gunk and a snapped main spring it shoots surprisingly well.
