Nothing can jump out of a screen and hit you in the face, but the ball from Cup n' Ball can take out an eye (or both) with ease if you get too carried away. That's intense gaming...there's no contest really.

The Wii is the only console that Ive been interested in playing in ten years (well,since Mariokart on the SNES anyway) ..great graphics do no make a good game ,its all the same repetitive pish , the Wii beats them by fookin miles and i've been playing consoles and PC's since the 80's so im ***in right...

Dzkie is right, Graphics dont make a good game, but if you get all the elements right, Fun + Graphics + all that other stuff, its class. Its why i keep playing Gears of War, its brilliant.

I personally dont like the Wii that much, played on my mates a few times, and i get bored with it quickly. (talkin Wii Sports etc ...)

What good has come out on the PC recently? The last major game i got was FEAR i think, i wouldnt mind that supreme commander however, not sure if my PC can run it.

also iv just read that in the US the xbox 360 warrenty is void if you plug it into a surge protector and doesnt cover damage from power surges

I meet the minnimum req, but my GFX card is only 128mb, so not the reccomended ... i might still pick it up though.

RE: The surge protector, just dont tell them you had it plugged into one, and its not an issue in the uk i dont think? And since when do surges really happen anyway?

yeah its not an issue in the UK as we have laws to stop stupid warrenty's like that. And my mates one actualy broke from having a power surge so its lucky, they are known to be suseptible to them, the first versions at least.

I've got an Athlon 64 3600, 2 gig of ram, and a 512MB Nvidia card.

Bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because it looked awesome, turns it's so buggy it's virtually unplayable so took it back.

Would have agreed with you a couple of years ago, but at the moment, all the good releases are console only and the pc just isnt keeping up. Unfortunately

i dont really even play xbox anymore, i just want one because they look damn sexy.
