ps3 wiiiiii or xbox 360

fun debate. I've got a PC with 64bit dual core processor, 3gig of RAM, and all the rest of the bells and whistles. Thing is it cost me around £2500!!! it is quicker than anything else I've played and has better graphics. That said, I also have a 360 played on a 40ins LCD HDTV (Samsung - the one it was developed on). I can play PC or 360 through it.

Gotta say 40ins HD porn rocks!!!!! yeah yeah wrists and all that. my missus enjoys it too!

the 360 has a good online community but it's no where near the size of the PC online community. however it's still much bigger than the embryonic PS3's

Wii - we are all agreed - not in the same category, it's more like the modern day monopoly family game arena.

I'm all for the 360 (I'm a brand whore for MS) don't think the PS3 is worth the dough.

There will be something new out in a couple of years and the PS3 will again be inferior anyway!!!

Playstation researching into cheaper ways of making the PS3 as atm they are loosing $200 for each one they sell because of the cost it costed Sony to develop PS3 and they obviously havent sold as many as they would have liked.
If they can make it cheaper to make the playstation, it will proberly be the same price as a 360 which is good news as £400+ is too much for most people just on a console.

I have a 360. Bought after being a mega PS2 fanboy, when my brother was going on about how great they were. Now normally i would have just told him to sod off but after the PS3 got put back a few times i got sick of waiting and took the plunge and bought the 360.

as for whether it is better than a PS3, well, i'll find out when they bring the price of the PS3 to under £250...until then, it is 360 all the way for me, and even then, unless the PS3 has an impressive catalogue of exclusive games (like the 360 has) then i wont be buying one at all.

Somehow, me thinks you got ripped off with that PC like, next time you want one, gimme a bell and ill make you one for hte same price, and keep the other grand as payment.

The games for the PS3 are more expensive than the 360, and for hte most part, they are the same games, the ps3 only has one or two exclusives at the moment.

so you pay £400 for the console, then pay £50 for the games.
OOORRRRR
you pay £250 for the 360, and pay £40 for the same games, and have a selection of games to choose from that the ps3 doesnt have.
and loads of games <£30.

doesnt take a genius to work out which one to go for like.

As for the Wii, i think thats a totally different type of gaming, and should never be compaired to the 360 or PS3, Wii gaming is more "fun" "pick up and play" gaming, rather than
"oh my god the graphics on this game are sooooo good, but its so hard! i cant for the life of me beat the boss on level three and iv been retrying it for 6 days and i think iv lost my job... $hit...."
kind of gaming, which the xbox and playstation are.

yes the ps3 came out last mounth or so . but the xbox has been out for since christmas. soo you have to wait the ps3 is got some amazing games coming out

yeah my thoughts too, the cpu i've just bought cost's £410 in this country,with all the "bell's and whistles" and it only cost me £167 posted (ebay is awesome ) the whole thing will only cost £700 , for £2500, i hope those bell's sound nice

anyway

i would buy a PS3 but tbh, after a while i'd go back to the pc again, i've done it before, the games are so much better
