Con's - If something does go wrong you'll have to send it back to the states to be fixed, or at least that's Alpha's stance on AKA markers not purchased through us, effectivley you're on your own.

Support UK companies!!!

Yes, I quite agree with you Paul, especially with AKA stuff but timmy's are SO expnsive to buy over here, I think it's still cheaper to get them abroad.

However, I only ever use e-cockers and Angels myself as they are home grown... :)

Another con is you have to wait for it to get here, some people like to see what they are buying first and enjoy the security of being able to take it back.

Neill, have PM'd you some info...

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
Yes it is cheaper to get them in the USA........ but when customs get them they will slap VAT and inport duties on there, which can work out to be the same price as the gun so you pay double.

And as Paul said no back up for the gun, so you have to send it back and get ot repaired, then guess what when it comes back more inport duties and VAT!

Import tax is 22.5% which includes VAT

You don't have to pay tax for repair goods coming back into the country.

buying from usa

my team have bought two guns from america both angels

both have been serviced successfully in the uk and with postage added on it came to less than the gun itself would cost from england..............also they are both custom and we havent seen any the same in england so you get something special :D

cons
it takes ages to get to you and you would probably need to set up a paypal acccount if you were going to send money over

apart from tht

its all good

hope tht helps anyone interested

Wdp is a little different as the main company is here, what I'm saying is I won't support a marker that wasn't purchased from me.
