Well I would just like to say that other than the crap display of markers with full auto switches and other such antics from pro players there is one that really pissed me off (probably cause I had to deal with it directly!)!!! WTF is up with pro players guesting for Division 2 teams!!!! What kind of sorry ass team signs up for Div. 2 and asks 2 pros to guest with them and why is the Millennium allowing this! We played Kidz Redz in Bitburg, Div. 2 team (from Portugal I think) and who is playing for them???? None other than Hugo Domingues (from Estratego) and Rodney Squires from Dynasty!!!! That just ain't right! I heard Pheonix (russian div. 2 team) have 2 Russian Legion back plyers guesting for them! WTF!!! Plus we played 2 pro teams during the qualifiers!!! We might as well go back to the Novice division!

I have 2 things to say!

1) I would be pretty ashamed of myself and my team if we had showed up with like Fred Halmone and Oliver Lang as our guests to help us get a result cause we're so crap!

2) I would be ashamed as a pro player to go guest for a Div 2 team just cause it shows a total lack of any sense of sportsmanship! And lack of respect for the guys who are working their asses off to play Millenium events!

Thats one way to look at it. You could also think that these teams would have been last if it wasn't for the pro guests...... so basically it helped them work their way up the ranks a little bit and might have forced a couple teams out of the cut.... But Squires definitely made a difference during our game :D which explains why it pisses me off! If we had one that game I would probably be bragging about it but that is not the case! We lost and Squires and Hugo definitely made a difference during the match! :D

mmmm, I'm not aware of that. If you play Div 1 once you're supposed to be Div 1 for the what... the next 2 years? And if you play pro once you're considered Div 1 and if you play it twice you're pro... for the next 2 years. right?

One of the players on my team has a pro status. He sat out last year and is playing Div 1 this year so he'll be considered Div 1 after this season is over. So that's 2 years of not playing pro to be considered Div 1.

And this is written in the Millennium Series rulebook:

3.7. In each season players can move as many times as they want inside their own category. Out of their category players can move up as many times as they want. If a player has moved down once, he cannot move out of category again during the current season. For the last leg of the season players are not allowed to move down .

so when they say category (that is underlined) they mean his new Div 1 category??? ...So in other words since Rodney played Div 2 once this year he's not allowed to play outside of Div 1 the rest of the year?

I think what the rules are saying is that:

Its as if you start the season with a clean slate! No paintball history! Last season does not count to determine your division. So at the beginning of the season you can basically play for any division for ex: a div 2 team if you wanted to. But then you can move down only once..... so for instance Hugo or Rodney could keep on playing div 2 but could go play div 3 only for one leg (you can move down once). For example Lang could move down to Div 1 for one leg of the series. But they can move up as much as they want meaning they can go play div 3 first leg of the season and then play pro for the rest of the season! And they can't go down for the last leg of the season.

In MS:

you can Start the season in whatever category you want.

from this starting category, you can move up as many times you want.

from your last category played that season (initial one or any other higher if have already moved up) you can move down to any one category (you cam jump from PRO to Div III if you want)

but if you move down once, you aren't allowed to change again that season, you are locked in that "lower" category.
