Yea, baines to dynasty. Arsenal will have a new owner before next event.

Here is mine.

Huntington Beach Final 4 Picks:

Mine
1. Ironmen - If you saw them play in LA you wouldn't rank them anywhere else.
2. Joy - Consistent Killers.
3. Dynasty - Home field and Baines pickup earned them this position. Otherwise meh....
4. Infamous - The Ironmen and them were the team to beat in LA from what I saw. They will be good.

Teams with strong showings:

Raiders - As long as they listen to paul, killers. I would rank them higher but this is their first pro event (even though they have been in the NXL for a while now)

Oakland Blast - Bob picked up a few players that im not allowed to tell you about. They will be good.

Hurricanes - These kids are getting better and better. Played decent in LA but 7's is their game.

Teams who could struggle:

Avalanche - Im an avalanche fan from way back but I don't agree with how Ed is handling this new roster, especially in PSP. For their sake i hope they get it straightened out in 7s.

Rage - Alot of roster changing, could be a hard event.

Excessive - Rich has a slipped disk, neil coming off a bad injury, and thomas taylor is playing on some kind of torn ligament. In the NXL the new guys had a chance to adjust so they did well, but 7's could be another story.

It's always interesting to see how teams come out for the first event of the year. some thing that come to mind:

- if XSV can overcome the injured vets and lack of experience for the new guys
- if Infamous can avoid self-destructing like they did last year
- how the Authority throw-together works out
- getting yelled at by Rocky's mom :p

Infamous has their old core back, which they didn't have last year.

XSV getting in the top 4 will be like the bushwhackers of last year getting in the top 4, because that is basically who the team is composed of now from what I can see.

Authority could be good in the future, if the roster can stay consistent. They do have the blonski brothers and alex, but niether have played 7s at this level for a while and have been playing with the most XBall style team to date. Could be a rough throw together.

I think they sold/tranferred the spot to the Ironmen after Dye took over the team. They were going to get relegated at the end of last season I think, so the Ironmen stepped in to help them get some results to prevent this from happening. They were able to hang on in there, now they are playing in Nexus' old spot.

I think that's the gist of it, I'm probably leaving some stuff out though.
