1. Dynasty - In HB they're hard to pick against (Ian's mystery player or no). There's really not much more to say, until these guys start bombing out then I can't drop them. Heck, as long as Angel's still in the snake, Greenspan's still controlling the back, and Alex is still running around putting his barrel in people's faces they're going to continue to stay at the top.
2. Joy Division - The field layout can dictate how far Joy pushes into the finals, and the NPPL field in HB looks to be defendable from the back. If the Joy boys can drag their opponents into individual gun-battles they're extremely tough to beat and, to a man, can stand up against any team out there when the trenches are dug. It takes a free-flowing offense to beat Joy, so if there are any gaping lanes on the field the Americans could be in trouble. I can also picture Maximus doing some serious damage from that doghouse in the center as the mid-game move to the end-game.
3. Excessive Damage - Come on you guys, you're giving up on the Excessive crew already? Okay, I was worried about them in L.A. but they had a very good event there. They're heavy with rookies, but they've still got enough of the old hands interspersed from the front - back, I just can't count them out. The team looks like they're on the same page right now, and as long as it stays that way they should hammer their way into the final four.
4. New Jersey Authority - Ooooh! The dark horse pic'. These guys are pals, they're good players, I can see them going out there to have a little fun and surprising some people with some fast-paced, unpredictable moves... you know, or not. Remember 'The Men' from a few years ago at Commander's Cup? It could happen here, especially at the first event of the year as everyone works out the kinks.
Okay, you can all pick on me now for leaving off the Ironmen.
