Portugal Nations X-Ball Question?? Maggot??

Well if it's the no.1 ranked team then that's cool - it just goes against what Mag has just said.

I dont think I could be so missunderstood.

England - robbo ( didnt want it went to highest ranking team Mayhem Tigers )"
Now Pete called me and said that Niall didnt offer him the job, going to look in to that, But it will not change the fact that Robbo dont want anything to do with it.
Doesnt change the fact that Robbo have hated the idea from the start, And I dont think the reason for that is that he wasnt asked!
He have been pissed about the format isnt 100% x-ball like the NXL.
But like I said, the team captain picking may be wrong in some cases. We have to live with that. I know it may not be perfect, but thats ok. Its 4 games per nation and the imortant thing is to try out the format and see if we can get x-ball for 2004 to work.
PS. It will not be the first time we have had a misunderstanding of how we feelt the nations cup would look like, and will not be the last time either.

Finally someone giving some comments on the issue.
I wrote "teams in no particular order" beacuse I didnt follow any ranking.
The way I see it we have 3 ways to rank the nations
1. Based on Pittsburgh
2. Based on latest Nations cup ( Portugal 2002 )
3. Based on Club teams ranking ( captains team )
Either way should be good.

Magued, but you are missing the point, had I been offered the post, like I should have done, and with no pre-conditions where I select my players i.e. that I could have had all Nexus players, then my decision may have been different !!!!
If the criteria still holds (which you say it does) , that is, the Pittsburgh captain should have had first refusal, and you know full well I was not extended that choice, then the right thing to do is surely self-evident !!!
Mag, when you call Niall tomorrow and if he can drag himself out of his hospital bed, I would be interested to hear what he has to say for himself.
Because if he confirms the truth, that is he never offered it to me then you have to stand by your own mandate !!
If he denys the truth, then that's a whole different ball game !!

The only Canadian team I can think of that came and played in the Millennium last year was Canadian Shockwave. (please some one pipe up if there were more?)
Even the Canadian team at last years Nations cup was a bit of a joke... wasn't Andy the only Canadian in it? It was essentially another USA team.
Where as there were several Finish teams attending every Millennium series event, so I think it would be better to have Finland play in the Nations X-ball, based on their previous attendance and performance (they were pretty darn good also!)
I also like Nicks way of seeding.

Isn't it even clearer cut then? Finland should be in rather than Canada? Maybe there isn't even a Canadian team scheduled to play the Millennium series this year also?
