You guys.......is it really that hard to breathe in them? I mean, I don't have a spectra flex, but I can't imagine that breathing would be hard enough to risk your face. I'm an asthmatic myself, so I would know about having a hard time breathing......

When you feel like you're gonna puke, there's nothing more sick than tasting your own breath in a mask. It's worse when you can feel your bones grinding together in your ankle. That's the only time I've rolled a Flex 7. That and the time that it was raining so hard I couldn't se to walk off the field, I had to roll it up to get my breath out of the way.

For the players who wanted to wear them rolled all the time it was an old school, hardcore fashion statement and tended to be thought of as separating the real ballers from the wannabes.

PS--Micah, ear shots tend to hurt worse at first but a good one in the mouth lasts longer as lip(s) tend to cut, bleed and swell.
