We all know why, the yank crazy gangs have been doin' it for a while and it kinda looks cool (to some) so others do it because it looks yank and yank is cool.

I have mine flipped up. I do it because, as a front player, I need to bring my head to the bottom/corner of the bunker to maybe get a little peak of the opposition. The extra "protection" gets in the way sometimes when doing the above. It also allows you to breathe better.

I've rolled up my mask on occasion because of breathing problems, or I feel like I'm gonna puke (playing with gout in your ankle SUCKS!!!!) But not to play in normally.

See, now if JT would have kept up the half mask, then we wouldn't even have this discussion!

Al's right, it's cool... but what is more it allows 'personalities' to show through. Full mask and everyone looks the same. Christ, when I was f kin brilliant, I wanted everyone to see it was me.

It's only a matter of time before we get a completely see-through mask. Hopefully it will magnify the face a little.

I swore I'd never get a Proteus, but the clear mask has a purpose and I might break down and get one.
