my last experience at a practice in a lie down on the 50 i made it off the break and realized i didnt have many options. so i forced myself to wait which i find is very hard to do but about half way through the game an opposing player moved up to a bunker that i was facing and had no idea i was there with an open angle on him. one shot and he was out. then about a minute later a second opposition took the same bunker and again i only took one shot. once the game was changing momentum and the opposition was getin pinned i spun around to see some guys barel sticking out from a tapeside bunker shooting at his 12 oclock. i bunkered him and we closed out the game. I find that there is a much different style of play in these bunkers which i try to avoid. If i find a path to break which hides my run to a bunker like this i take it cause often when ur not flinging paint everywhere you can go unoticed and catch the opposition off gaurd. I dont know how anybody could pull a good snapshot in a position like this or move around. Now though with my new marker (impulse) thats almost as tall as some of these bunkers i never take them.

This is a difficult question to answer, and really depends on the size/shape of the lay-down, and the position on the field. I've used the idea of laying on my back many times. What you are really doing, is not neccesarily sitting perpindicular to your bunker, but rather pointing your feet in the direction that you plan on shooting. It's easier to shift your shoulders and do a little sit-up than to try to balance yourself on your elbows, snap-shoot and keep tight.

If the bunker is tall enough to get your knees under you, then do it, just be aware of your hopper... but if it's this high, it's really not much of a laydown.

When you are walking the field, and you know that one of your spots (either your first, second, third...) get in that bunker and peak over the top and the sides. Look for those blind shots across the field. Don't be afraid to have a team-mate stand in the bunker you need to shoot at to gain your perspective. And GET ON THE GROUND. If it's a laydown, and you are going to be face down in the ground while playing, you are doing yourself an injustice by not getting down and looking around when you have all of the time in the world to take advantage.

Playing the snake is tough, but not really as tough as it seems. It's like playing any other bunker, but it's longer and appears a bit more dangerous. Yes, you have to take a chance now and then by moving up through the snake, but isn't every move just as dangerous. To play the snake well, and to amaze people on the side-lines, do your homework and walk the field. Get in the snake and look at all the people that you are going to be able to shoot from this awesome angle.

Just like any other front bunker, you had better have practiced your snapshooting if you want to cause any damage.

When I play liedowns, I usually lay halfway on my back and on my side, with my head in the tallest end of the barricade. The leg that is against the barricade, I put alittle bit under the barricade. Then use your abs to get quick peeks and snapshoot over the top, this should be coordinated with backguys. When you are halfway on your side you can also shoot down on the tall end where you have your head, you can get your marker close to the ground and shoot lanes, sometimes there are blindspot here. You can even wrap you bunker and get greater angels, sort out all this when walking the field. When you wrap your bunker be fast, or you can very well be out of there. The Disadvantage is that the liedown is hard to get out of, unless you go to your stomack and speedcrawl to a nearby bunker.

The snake is great!! I play by speedcrawling on my stomack, getting my backguy to keep his mirror in when I have to pass the "v" in the snake. You can put him in yourself, and then move fast. Now to actually shoot anybody, coordinate with your backguys where the opposition are, and then try to have them put them in, go over the top and snapshoot. I do this both in the above mentioned way, but often on my knees, really tight!! The backguy right in front of you is the most dangerous guy, if your backguy puts him in, you can do serious damage... On the snake work fast so you have the momentum, and you can surprise your opposition. First time you come over the top and take someone out, great chances are the the opposition are looking to mug you out of there, so work fast....

This is my style, hope I helped

Playing a snake, just dont forget to come out from diffrent positions along it, move around, otherwise you'l find someone will post on your position and "bang" you will get done coming out from the same place twice. Being in a snake makes you a dangerous guy to the other team. You have a lot of angles on them, use it to your advantage!! They are the best to play, jus watch out for people gettin into your snake, gets intense!!

As long as you have somebody watching your back you are fine, lie downs are usually key bunkers so the other team will want you out of the game and want you out fast! Before you go, make sure you have somebody who is or can cover your ass if your in there, call your codes and get your ass into the lie down as fast as you can. When you get there, chill, just soak up all the paint.
Having their attention being diverted towards you leaves your team the spots to move up and smoke their asses!

When you are in there, always have your marker facing their direction, so if somebody does get the chance and comes into mug you, you can have a chance of getting them out in the process.

And exactly, cause chaos and yes you will get alot of paint coming in your direction especially the first minute or two but always keep your cool! No.1 Rule of playing a lie down!
