Yes, the Panic Attack game was a really good one. Lots of too-ing and fro-ing, could have gone either way. Probably game of the Tournament from my point of view.

I'd like to thank the organisers for showing us how a Tourny should be run, I really can't think of anything to fault. Obviously I'd like to thank all our sponsors for the fantastic support they've showed us through thick and thin, and the Marshalls from being simply a class apart from anything else I've experienced.

But most of all I'd like to thank all the teams we played throughout the weekend. The openness and cameraderie between teams really set a tone for the whole weekend. And above all the cleanliness of play was simply incredible. As an example, in the closing stages of the final against K2 I caught a mid player on the knuckle with a glancing shot. Now in any tournament down South against any of the established teams I would have half expected that knuckle to disappear and reappear clean. But the guy instantly came out of his bunker. And that sort of fair play was a prime feature throughout the whole tournament against everyone we played.

It's great to see such a shining example of how a tournament should be run and played.

All the best and we'll see you all soon.

P.S. I though the announcer's suave and relaxed "Gaaaame onnnnn" was a nice departure from the norm! :)

That would be the norm for for northen tourneys because if we get arseholes playing the Ultimates up here who are Russell Rulebook and Mark Blakemore dont take any **** and don't let teams spoil what they have got and it seems to work well.

As for K2 not a chance of them cheating there just great ballers but you was the worthy winners on the day well done.
see you soon

Cheers Phil

One thing we aint is cheaters, you don't any better by cheating. We wanna get there on talent alone.

Great tourney, shame not more teams turned up, they missed out on a sweet weekends ballin'. The fields were the best I've played in a UK tourney for ages, this is the way forward, none of this 5 stand ups on the back line crap just some serious killing bunkers that you really had to work at getting to and work hard to dominate once you got there. Very U-S style. Organisers should definately follow suit.

Shout out to the 'Machine', all the boys tore it up this weekend with a lil' shift around on the team which seemed to work. Shame about the end result, we just gotta stop getting too giddy in the finals, well done to Storm for playing it cool and taking the gold. Shout to ma boy Latham for taking another player of the tournament, although we all know he stole it from me :D I thought I'd sealed it when I finished off Illusion in the quarters but then he shot all five of the opposition in the semis so he tha man.

Cheers to Zap and Phoenix, the Chronic Ultimate is by far the most awesome paint out there at the moment, it breaks on anything and everything. Thanks to Barry and Bully, great event guys. Barry knows whats what when it comes to field layouts, take note y'all.

Until the next instalment.
