what can we expect for the next event?
sorry people but all i can see so far is it is going to be an unmitigated disaster, in respect of attendence.
there are about 40 teams booked in at the pa league and no one can take it from them, they have done the footwork and it seems to be paying off.
where are all the other teams that are not at the p.a?

no offence s.p.c but you need to get your finger out and attract the teams back if you want to keep things going.
only 19 teams last event, 15 so far this time!
as i understand it, last event barely covered the set up costs.
and this one doesnt look any further on.

dont know how you will do this, but need to do it fast.
midland masters and associated events have always been popular from the start
and it would be a massive waste if it was all to come to nothing.

major compaints that i hear at most of the events dont seem to get answered.
mostly about marshalling,

I think one of the ideas that they have come up with is to move the dates so that they dont clash with the P.A league might be a wise move may well get more teams attending that way tho it needs to be done sooner rather than later me thinks

Bingo :).

Watch this space but I think somethings happening this weekend about that :)

As for attendance so far for this and last event, yeah it 's ashame that team have either moved tourny events (S2K4/PA) or have since split up, but I'm sure once the dates are sorted that you will be seeing 3 or more packed divisons in terms of how it was last year .

As for marshalling, yes it is a problem, but your going to find that at almost every event, but the marshallings always great until a team disagree's with a choice a marshalls made, then word gets around on the forums how "bad" it was when really it might of just been the odd one or two calls that didn't go a players way.

I marshalled on feild 3 for the 5/koth last week and I heared no complaints from anyone, so things might be looking up in that deppartment, so watch this space again.

I know I'm looking forward to playing this weekend, and lets just hope the suns out on the sunday and the sat so I can get some training in :)

See you all there......

....Ohh and check out DV8's new Raven feild this weekend:D

Jesus. Bit harsh this one aint it? Why are you assuming it's SPC's fault? the Pa league have taken many teams that would of played the MM/premier 7's. there's no denying it. you can't blame a tournament series just because teams dont want to play in it.

Anyway as i understand it there is a meeting this weekend about changing the dates and so on and so forth.

ian what complaints have there been? there are always complaints about marshalling no matter what event you attend. what else has there been? i haven't heard anything about complaints and i have my ears pretty close to the ground. if i aint heard anything i doubt they have. and ffs it's only the second event.....

they have been left in a deep pile of **** by the departure of un- named persons. give them a chance....
