having played at san diego and denver where they had the turf on concrete, i had no problem with sliding, and i do not think that there was any concern in relation to injuries from sliding on the turf laid on concrete.

its great to slide on when there is a layer of slick paint especially.

dont worry about it, it will be fine

Sam, are you talking about the "action Turf" carpet style surface or have the NPPL now got the grass effect like this new stuff (if it acutally comes off)

Played football on this type of surface got carried away and did some sliding tackles on this stuff and never ended up with any friction burns.
Tho i think that was down to the playing surface being dampened down alot so if they are using it in Paris the paint will stop the friction burns tho padding will definately be a must.
