Paris on Astro-turf!

if its the same as the turf they use in the NPPL then i wouldnt use blades, i wear Nike Sharks and they were useless on the turf
Don't use blades, i used them once in 5 a side footy and you will end up twisting your ankles on this surface
Studs are best bet coz they wont lock into the floor like an inch long blade! They wont be comfy on the tarmac though, bit of catch 22.

I would guess that if the playing surface is anything
else than grass the MS will inform their athletes soon.
Any one that played Paris last year is familiar with the
new location, it's the huge parking lot on the opposite
of the road > left of the Newport Hotel.

was the astro at HB sand based?
im hoping there will be a layer of padding or rubber between the astro and the concrete?

some of the pro's told me that in SD they kept wacking there knees on the astro and it still hurt.. also they used these massive air things to get the pegs in
I've been told it isn't astro turf, it's the "fake grass" rubber backed stuff.
