The one above should run off the source engine, but the ones below are complete finished version of the mod, but are for the old Half Life 1 , so poorer graphics but you will need half life 1 to run it.

The links underneath each version are simply different download links. They all download the game, some are simply just from different areas.

Digital Paintball Gold FTW! Tried the source alpha, didnt like the snapshooting or the lack of seeing balls. In Gold, you have all the Xball field layouts to play!

Yep gold is the best one as its full finished version, Source is improved graphics and engine, but is not finished. Snap shooting can be done by leaning (well thats the closest you can get, but leaning in and out quickly is fine).


And JTD, since im typing this im not gonna bother with a PM. You have to have steam to run these. And as far as i know you need to have the game that gold is modded for. Half Life 1. You cant play a mod for a game without the original game.

You need have a game that makes you install 'Steam' onto your system, such as, half life 1, half life 2, counter strike etc..

or you can buy HL1 from www.steampowered.com, download steam and voila it downloads for you

You can check it out at www.pb3d.net, if you then wish to apply for Beta you can visit www.pbvids.com who are working with PB3D and register there and apply for beta.

In the game you can buy, sell and trade items, get money etc. to buy new markers or upgrades, there are 6 upgradeable parts for each marker so overall there are 500 million different possible combinations.

You are trying to connect to a server with a different version, if you have digital paintball gold then connect to the server that says "straight up play glitched and be banned"

if not DPgold just connect to different servers you'll find one, unless you have a really old version (i'd suggest re-downloading from digitalpaintball.net if you didnt already)
