You do not have to be as fit or athletic to play paintball as you need to be in order to compete in other mainstream sports. I can see the problem with it, as TV audiences clearly did too. It's mostly about shuffling around and aiming a gun (that pretty much fires itself now) at something/someone/somewhere...
If you can dress it up as a sport you will get away with it though...just sell, be strong...
