Good to see something's already been done about them, isn't it.Damn - these repeat threads just won't die - will they!
bless you mate. Yeah in that respect I totally agree. The level of ball we're playing just cannot compete internationally. Personally I don't know if promotion of paintball in the UK can completely solve the problem although I'd love to think it would. Either way something does need to be done to raise the bar.
And although its completely irrelevant I just this very second broke a tooth and its f'ing sore! Just thought I'd share that with everyone before I go to kipp.
call up skydiving instructors and ask for a list of email contacts that go there and email contact all of them lol

I think one of the things to work on is building/supporting university clubs...i'm trying to sort one out and the amount of interest from the (mainly male) students has been far greater than i expected...
students usually have a fair bit of spare time, are willing to spend a reasonable amount if they have a reason (eg alcohol ), are supposedly likely to come out with a higher wage afterwards and include many people interested in outdoors activities...
days like the newbie day at the Northern Quarter should also help a lot if we can drum up support for them, i'm trying to get a few people together to show them what tournament paintball is about and as long as you say "man-made bunkers, usually inflatable so they can be moved and taken down easily" rather than "inflatable air bunkers" which just gets people confused with bouncy castles they're usually pretty intrigued

somehting that might give a boost, the mirror this morning showed john terry (chealse FC and England football) playing paintball with th erest of the club, this may get some people to go and try it, then they migth get hooked and their own gear
