BBC Let's Us down AGAIN!!!

We all want the game we love and respect to be shown on TV but this is not good because not only will it hurt site operators it will hurt the sport as a whole.

Why doesn't T.V actually ask for advice from actual paintballers before showing these sorts of programmes?

Marshalling customer days is hard enough without people watching these programmes and excepting to play like these actors and ending up hurt someone or themselves!

Having been involved with the filming of a paintballing show I realise that it is difficult to show the safety levels invovled, but what I have just witnessed on BBC 1 made me cringe. I actually found myself shouting at the tv "put your goggles on". Hopefully whilst making of this program the basic safety rules were not broken as it appeared. The only good thing was that no one was seriously hurt!!!!!!

The programme was DOWN TO EARTH and it was on bbc1 at 8pm until 9pm.

It was about a bloke who just set up his own site, and there was no netting anywhere, they had customers walking around without barrel socks and without googles on, they started shooting each other as walked to the field without googles and when they were playing the game and they spoke they lifted there googles.

I think some big knobs from the paintball world should say something to these TV companys as it ruins the reputation of paintball all together. These has happened 3 or 4 times now and the one that sticks out in my mind is BIKER GROVE all them years ago.
