Its win win in my oppinion. Say worst case scenario, we all support and it gets rejected. The IOC dont want to know. In the mean time paintball has been talked about much more between people and its publicity rises, along with its participants, and in turn more interest / funding and acknowledgement follow. On the other hand, it gets accepted, and that happens anyway, just x 1000.
Just take those 30 seconds to have your say for your sport. Someone great once said "This sport is more than just teamwork.... its a brotherhood." So prove it.

youd be much better off to set up a website with a form or detaisl in which people can send letters that you collect and then forward on. Online pertitons can be spammed by many people over and over. A written letter, as short as it may be with an address etc will be ten fold more effective.
Why not do both? Ive started this petition and started to raise the level of awareness; I'd love every possible attempt to make this happen. So go for it guys, if you have web design skills, or some web space, Set something up, add it to this post, and start the ball rolling.

You would need the backing from america to even stand a chance and that's after it's been recognised as a 'sport' in every other country, which is a long, long way off.

Rapture, whilst your efforts might seem well meant, and I am sure they are, they aren't going to make one bit of difference, not one.
If we can't even manage to play one format under one governing body then petitioning any Olympics committee for acceptance is non-sensical and time wasting.
We are way too disjointed and disorganized for anybody to take us seriously.
If you feel the need to get involved then your time would be better spent in first trying to understand as many aspects of our sport and industry as possible and then lobbying for a unified format and rules etc.
