the concept is very interesting and even though there will be people protesting against the 'jocks and boxers' event its just a bit of fun, if you sign up to it you'd have to be pretty dense not to know the possible risks, but i think it'll go ahead and be a success. I'll be there it'll be a great laugh

Oh yeah and one more thing...If paintball markers were covered by the small arms and firing association then they would HAVE to been handed in to the Poice as part of the firearms amnesty, which took place back between January and begining of May.

on 12th March an unnamed man was arrested for possesion of a handgun 100m out side his local police station in Oldham. He claimed he was taking it to the station as part of the amnesty before being haulted by 2 coppers for a random stop and search.
Jamie Thompson from Leigh handed in 12 different firearms including a sawn-off barreled shotgun and a small bazooka on the last day of the amnesty. Unfortunatly for Mr Thompson his guesture or good faith came 10 hours to late, as the amnesty offically ended at 1.40am BST on 30th April. Mr Thompson walked into his station just before noon on the 30th, ahh bless the small print!
as i said "not quite" my poor miss-guided friend. i'm not debating where-or-not markers are covered by small arms and firing association but even if they were then during this amnesty they would NOT HAVE to be handed in. The firearms amnesty (which if you get your facts right actually lasted between 31st March and 30th April) is actually a voluntary thing which if you owned a firearm you could hand it in to your local police station without getting nicked for possesion, no questions asked, etc...

It is just a novelty idea that i have been mulling around my head for some time...i think it would make quite an amusing ending to a weekend tourney... besides it encorporates my two favourite hobbies!
Im with you dude when we first started playin tourneys about 9 months ago we were at paintball park and as it was one of our first tourneys we were getting our asses handed to us on a plate all day. To cheer things up a bit i decided to get butt neked and have a game (we were playing bad touch so i thought i wouldnt get shot) out of pure fluke i got hit on the hopper and called myself out faster than a honest guy on speed unfortunatley at the end of the game gemma of bad touch decided it would be a good idea to have everyone (including my team) line up and paint my back while i ran away and to whoever said in an earlier thread it doesnt hurt they are completley wrong (or maybe thats when you take about 30 hits) so if your gonna get this game on let me know it would be nice for someone else to be naked at the same time
