I think that the companys selling them should take some responsibility, 'cos if any thing goes wrong the industry might be called in to questions, " ooohhhh where did they get that idea?"

:( :(

yes but paint blotches arnt as distructive as paintballs but i guess they still can cause blindness. hmm..... it was some toy company so the paintball industry could claim they shouldnt try to sell markers off as toys?

I am not defending selling them to kids I could and don't much to the manfactures dismay.

I will run one over the cronnie this week end if it goes that low

Place your bets now

5 sparklie cookies says they are under 80 feet per second I will have whitnesess;)

These things are feeble and designed only to breack on hard surfaces ie the targets they are supplied with, but they also break on goggles and plastic bins.

They are a novelty item all be it piggy backing on our sport but they are so virtually harmless I will see if they will breack on the van too!

They very rarley breack the manufactures are looking into this biut so far not much luck:(

In all honesty not being medically trained I would find it highly unlikely for one of these to damage any thing or any one.

The big ones are air pumped power like a water pistol and the pistols are a one shot spring power action.

Any way offf to the cronnie sunday

Alien if you are listening would you care to offciate the cronning and keep it all above board.

Closest one gets the cookies

sparklie;)

I havent seen these yet but i assume if they're supplied with goggles then they're dangerous? Kids will be kids and wont wear the goggles. No i dont think it's agood idea. We have young players at our site 10 yrs upwards and maybe if they play with one of these toys they will become complacent when it comes to the real thing & lift their goggles? I have 2 kids of my own & i wouldnt have let them use a toy which requires the use of safety goggles...

expecting all parents to take responsability for there kids is rather foolish a great number of lawsuits in the us and canada have shown that they dont and when something goes wrong they blame someone else .
