According to this quite hilarious video, anyway, which I think it would be wrong not to share:

<3 American sensationalism.
Can we please put the obvious mask thing aside (though someone's bound to bring it up) and just bask in the stupidity?
From this video, it would seem:
• Carjackings are up 57% so it is very very likely that you will be carjacked
• Throwing your keys away and aggravating someone with a gun is a good idea...here's why:
• Carjackers are attracted to keys like candy, and:
• They cannot hit you with a gun, because they will probably be high on crack or drugs!
• Its way hard to hit someone with a gun, paintball experts with accurate paintball guns only hit the reporter once, so you'll be safe.
Ok, so I myself might be exagerating here...it probably is actually quite hard to hit a moving person with a pistol (haven't had the chance to try it myself), but what about the advice of ploughing your car into a busy intersection as a life-saving measure?

Carjackings are way up in the city of Memphis. Between 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning four carjackings were reported in Memphis. So far this year, Memphis police say carjackings are up 57%.
Experts say if the carjacker just wants to take your car, you should cooperate. If the carjacker tries to take you along you need to do everything in your power to get out of the car. The best thing to do is throw your keys, then get out and run.
Regular gun shooter David Zorn said the good news is hitting someone while he or she is running away, especially if he or she doesn’t run in a straight line, is pretty hard. Zorn says, “I have gone to gun shooting ranges and at about 30 feet every once in awhile you completely miss the target which is about 3 feet wide, and that's something that's standing completely still, when you're not nervous or in a bad situation trying to rob somebody, so I know it is very difficult to shoot anybody with a real pistol.”
Experts say if the carjacker does manage to get in the car with you, the best thing to do is actually crash your car. First wait until you get to a busy intersection, then if you're driving, slam into something on purpose. If the carjacker is driving, reach over and grab the wheel to cause the wreck.
If your kids are with you if you are carjacked, safety experts say don't ask the carjacker permission to take them. Assume you are taking the children with you and just start grabbing them. No matter what the carjacker says, don't stop. Just move as quickly as possible.
