Ok... this one has been bothering me since I first saw it, cos i'm pedantic in that way.
It's about the snapping technique in the game. In the IGN feature on the game at http://xbox.ign.com/articles/552/552824p1.html
It explains 'All it takes to switch shooting hands is a quick button tap. From behind cover, this makes it possible to switch the marker into the left hand and then snap out to the right, exposing as little of your player as possible. '
This mistake seems to also be demonstrated by the videos with the report, which show the player with the gun in their left hand while coming out right. Right, either they don't know what they are talking about or you've made a bit of a boo boo in the game. Surely if you want to snap shoot correctly out of the right side of your barricade then the gun should be in your right hand (right side of screen) and vice versa for the other side? Could you help clear this matter up please and explain how the system actually works.
Also, I'd like to know how the firing of the marker operates. Is it a simple matter of one pull of the trigger = one shot, which would necessitate very uncomfortable 'walking' of the Xbox trigger (which it isn't designed for). Or does the the game implement a artificial way of achieving high rates of fire (with the faster guns) such as ramping or similar?
EDIT, REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION!: This is what I and many of my balling brothers on the other side of the pond NEED to know, as it's been causing a great deal of concern for us. Is there any news/ideas on a UK/European release date for this title? It's being distributed by Activision Value and I am unaware of a single of their games that has made it over here. I'm rather concerned that it may not ever come out over here, will it? And if so....when?
Thanks for your time, I hope you can answer these questions soon (i have lots & lots more)

1. When you snap, you snap in the direction that you can see in. This might look a bit different from their view of paintball to some people but it allows you to have a field of view in the direction you are going to snap. Take a look at the cover of the game and notice Greg's head position. He is snapping to the left, the marker is in his left hand, but it is held on the right side of his face. This is the way our game functions and the way Greg feels it should be implemented. The description in the review simply states the hand the marker is in incorrectly.
2. High rate-of-fire markers have a special mode that fires paintballs both on the pull and the release of the trigger, if you maintain a relatively high rate of trigger pull. It works really well and keeps the "semi-auto" feel of the markers while allowing high rates of fire.
*Update* Also, the faster markers have a very shallow trigger pull -- meaning you don't have to pull the trigger all the way to fire the gun. You can just kind of "fan" it about a millimeter and it will fire quite rapidly.
3. European launch of the game is guaranteed in our contract. I'll let you know the release dates as soon as I hear from Activision on it.

We currently have no plans to build a PS2 version of Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball. However, our publisher (Activision) has expressed interest in making the sequel a multi-platform launch, after they see how successful the first game is.
Make sure you hit our web site for links to hands-on previews of the game, which is scheduled to hit store shelves on November 16th.

Live upgrades (downloadable content) are planned for game 2, but I don' think you'll see it for game 1.Will the game support LIVE content upgrades?
Such as new markers, maps, player models, etc.

The single player character is separate from your online character. In online mode you can create any custom character with any gear you wish, or you may select one of the pro players with their pre-selected sponsored gear (some of which is only available on the pros, and is not selectable in the gear bag). When you play LIVE will you be able to use your "user created" character from story mode?
