so far i have looked through previous posts and 2 ions went missing and 3 un-named markers went missing in last 2 months.

So that post about the plastic gun being an ion may be true...

I think it's much more likely to be one of those horrid supersoaker style things that fire .40 cal paint. You can buy them in toy shops, Argos, etc etc and to be honest I wish you couldn't. They are pretty crappy for playing with and make an association between markers and toys that isn't helpful:mad:

surely the range on them is only a few feet. Sounds like this was from the other end of the car park, which is about half the length of a field.

Am getting the reported to get a description of the gun used and putting her straight on things

On a lighter note I'm bloody glad I am not a teenager today:eek:

I once shot a friend in the buttock with a crab apple from a Black Widow catapult and he cried for an hour:eek: I escaped relatively unpunished but today I'd have been labelled a 'Catty' before being courted by David Cameron as a misunderstood youth alienated by an uncaring society and then sent.......paintballing. As part of my rehabilitation. In Africa. Hang on, I changed my mind:confused:

Be very careful in dealing with the press. Except PGI of course, tell them everything including pin numbers.

So easy to get quoted out of context etc. Or a pic taken of your gusset getting out of a taxi.

Perhaps point them towards the UKPSF?

If it was a stolen marker i think it may have run out of air by now and dont see many places filling up 11 year olds air tanks wishing them good luck at their next big walk on do you?. Be realistic it was probably a £15.00 thing from argos so lets no start accusing and sounding like these people who think paintballs kill.

Have you ever tried to conceal a fully set up marker walking it to your car? kids wouldnt get 5 metres down the road with out some old girl reporting them.
