I worked out the figure originally from data I got from the paint suppliers and then made the assumption that teams had ten players, most teams had more so the figure should be lower but it is best to over estimate than under.
It is strange when you look at the data in detail in high scoring games we found that paint consumption was low and the opposite in low scoring games.
So the adage used by No Limit rings very true: Win Fast or Lose Cheap
When Birmingham Disruption had their record game win of 19 points to nil (in fact they played 20 games but one was a dirty flag so did not count) we worked out they used less than nine boxes in total with some of that paint still being in the packs at the end.
