all I can say is WOW.

what an awesome event, players area totally fenced off from all unauthorised parties, you needed a players pass to get in and carry kit out, the first time i have been to an event and this has been strictly checked.

Also how high was the netting ? it was like two regular tournies netting stuck upon each other :) , you could see all the effort that goes into an event like this.

We regularly play the midlands masters which has a lot of sporting teams with great attitudes, but at this event everyone was the most sporting team, and I am not exaggerating.

Thanks to the marshalls, only a couple of calls that we thought were wrong but otherwise spot on.

Also thanks to the teams we played, manchester, you guys were rocking, we will see you next time when you can give us that cup.

I am sure it is criminal to have such a cracking event and such a low turn out, ok it is a long way, we travelled just over 500 miles this weekend and I would do it again.

Thanks agian to all involved, it really seems that we are at the start of something big, and I can say I was there when it started.

Well done to the Lincs lads, you played fantastically as a team today (& thanks for t

Thanks Rob - we really appreciate it - this was our 1st tournament - we have trained hard for this over the past 3 months - but all that training and commitment went out of the window Saturday - we just had one of those days.

The attitude of the team on Sunday Morning shows the depth and spirit that this team has - and is the reason that I know that they will become one of the top U.K teams over the next couple of years !!!!

We had a team meeting for 20 mins before start of play Sunday - analysed our game and what was not working - and then committed to each other to do it on the field.

The passion, control and play that my team then put on in the next four division games was outstanding - winning 3 and down to a 1 on 1 with the Keltics was more than any manager can ask of his team.

We learnt more this weekend about the team and ourselves than in the past 3 months. The support that other teams showed us - the advice we were given - the encouragement that our style of aggressive play and movement was not the problem - but the small things like trying to win every game in 2 mins and playing tighter - not getting greedy and posting for too long (thanks for that Junior) and control.

Again thanks to everyone for your support - it really showed what our sport is all about.

shame more teams didn't make the trip up north, maybe next year eh?

Congrats to Manchester, you guys played great all weekend, as did Nottingham.

The York team was made up of guys from 4 different teams (although mostly ex-Stupid Troopers :D) just pulled together for this one event so to be 4th after saturday was a great result for us, big thanks to Fat Bobs paintball and Andy from York Paintball Centre for the paint. roll on next year's PA cup! :D

It wasn't that bad up the scaffold (wasn't only me) but I got a wicked view of the finals but I appear to have missed the second game I heard dave shot game on then I heard the marshal shout game over?!?! damn the manchester lot were fast on that one.

Must say a well done to the crew, fantastic, next year I'm playing!!

Last little bit then I'm back to "work" ( hehe year in industry) durham for a scratch team ( most had never played tourney ball) you guys did really well.

Was really good to see the seating area with spectators some of which had no idea what it was all about but they watched anyway.

One thing I must say, even up on that tower I only got 3 shots hit me ( over two days) and I only know of 6 shots going over ( may have been more) didn't see any holes in the netting.,

Well done!
