Again - I want to add my praise to Hatt / Gillie and the entire team for making this such a great tournament.
The Setting - Witton Castle is the best setting - great facilities. Need more tournaments here.
The fields - All varied and requiring different skills.
The Marshalling - Excellent friendly and consistent.
The Teams - Played hard on the field and were really friendly off the field.
This has set the standards by which we will be judging all future tournaments.
When do have to pay our deposits for the next one !!!!!
And finally a big thanks to all my team mates - we suffered on Saturday - learnt from our mistakes and came back strong on the Sunday - A 3rd place trophy at our 1st event - only missing 2nd by 17 points !!!!! Winning 3 out of 4 Division games - with a close loss to the Keltics on our only loss.
You all made me proud !!!!

Well done Sunderland......you found the fields for every game and managed not to end up in hospital. It's a major victory for sunderland...........but now that we've lost the cup we can concentrate on the league (ever hear that from a Sunderland manager before 
Thanks to everyone involved, particularly JUST paintball for all of their help, Top-Gun and Colin for his continued support and above all Hatt and Gillie for showing the public what our sport is all about.
The Hellfish and El Mariachi have ceased to be......... today's squad was cobbled together from our new player intake. But in support of this excellent event we are launching a new squad for next season........... we'll be taking a new approach and permanently representing Sunderland...........tops have switched to black red and white (thanks again JUST).
This is the way forward, anyone interested in a slot, please give me an e-mail, El Mariachi will continue as our newbie squad, and as today we will provide decent kit for new players.
The PA squad even had a total novice, who'd never held a marker before (she will be sorely missed).

Well done kids, very enjoyable weekend. Looking forward to what you guys dig up for the year ahead. Well done Manchester (But we are gonna win the premier league this year ). ALL the teams well done, the atmosphere was brilliant off the field and fun on it. Sorry to not see Middlesborough.
I would like to say thanks to Kelts for the help with the Marker loan, just next time show me how to turn the air on that one
For all the sunderland guys see you on the practice field, and thanks to manchester and Nottingham and all the other teams who handed us a leason.
Marshalling was excellent, well done all concerned.

The PA Cup has to be one of the best events that I've played this season. If you weren't there then you missed something special and you're gonna have to wait a whole year to find out what I'm talking about. Yes, it's way up north, but it's got to be one of the best venues in the UK - and the beer's cheap!

On the way up the road we stopped at a services for some well earned food... and the topic of conversation had to be... Edinburgh Vs Manchester...... what a game, what a rush!!!!!!!!
(Scary but cool at the same time).... now if only we can manage to play like that all the time.
