Did anybody see stars in your eyes this evening, (the missus) let me stress (the missus) was watching, and the two young lads from coronation street were rec-balling with some lads, and stating that he plays regular and paintball was best activity since slice bread, cant do any harm for us can it

Yet again some more t.v publicity for paintball, keep it up celebs

But one thing that i spotted was as he finished his bit of ballin, he removed his mask for the camera...whilst still on the playing field.

Yes, yes i know celebs playin ball has been on another thread b4, but this is different.....honestly

x-fire... that realy gets on my nervs!!!!!

Yeah, i know where you r comin from.

Glorified paintball on tv such as x-fire and the like doesn't really promote the sport. What i think that is needed is paintball needs to be filmed from grass roots level, ie:- Rec ballin right the way through to tournament level, to show how it really is and to show how many people play regular, how many people attend to watch tournaments, and basically how professional the sport has become.

I'm sure that it would surprise many people within the television business of how popular it would be, therefore somebody needs to grab this by the scruff of the neck and really push for regular t.v slots.
I mean come on, have you seen some of the sh#te thats broadcast nowadays that nobody watches, surely the audience of paintballers alone would pull in more viewing figures than regular ppl viewing shows such as "famous on t.v for dicking around" (on bravo) which is about 6 blokes from scotland immitating jackass.....BADLY!

Is this a feesable, sensible idea? I don't know, what do you all think.

Who would be the man to push for this within the sport ultimately

well if they diid make a decent paintball tv show
it should be like foot ball.... ya know
actual fottage of real games with a commentater.
but not a bloody game show!!!

still i dont thinck doing a show on rec ball would'nt be good
cuz too manny people who go rec ball arnt verry good..
what people want is exp ballers who know what their doing.
this will also make it look better and more people will play

you never know! if it did come on tv.. paintballing may
be the next big thing like foot ball!

hmm although i DO want paintball to get bigger...i dont cos me and 1 mate are the only people are age basically in my whole town that paintball....which is pretty dam cool, and i dont want others to take it up not like they would be better than me anyway
