On behalf of Imperial I'd like to say that there are no hard feelings. We still love you guys, like you say it was all in the heat of the moment and if I had been in your position I would probably have reacted in a similar way. Especially with your lack of sleep.
I think you guys need to be commended for making the effort for making the Trip up, we have been to Temple and appreciate the effort you guys put in.
Also a big thanks to your last 3 players for making me look good by letting me win the game. That snap shot I made on the rocket guy was awesome. Ok done blowing my own trumpet

Now for my 10 pence worth

I was a guest for Phoenix in the "Squeegygate" game ( When i say guest i mean Mike the Yank was ill and Sammy asked me to make up the numbers , god knows why!!)

Also I and we (Delta) marshall quite a bit

Some points I wish to make , Im not having a dig at anyone.
I wish to bring the sport forward etc etc

It does not matter what has happened , what is going to happen in the future.I read Bullys post and I thought if teams wont Marshall , then what happens?If players dont want to come to an event because of bad calls etc , then what happens?
NO MORE PAINTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cant run events without marshalls or players
So what can we do? I dont have all the answers I may not have any answers!

1 Training of Marshalls. Your team practice why cant marshalls to include the laws of Paintball , how to read a field and look for plays before they happen.(This would stop things like being pulled out for leaving squeegy etc)

2 Image of Marshalls . In todays Paintball World nearly all the teams who play all have nice playing tops and all look the same.
The refs all dress as they please ( in some games wearing the same base colour tops as the players and even the same shirt in some cases. This can not be good .
People said to me we brought Paintball out of the woods for the sake of the spectators! do we expect Joe public to understand that the 5 or 6 people that look like asylum seekers are the Umpires or Refs.
Cant someone put their hand in to Sponsorship pot and get enough Ref tops for all the refs to be the same?Think advertising space. also as we are in Nothern England some nice warm jackets.Dress for respect and you will get some.

3 Attitude Both players and Refs , we need both.
Respect each other for what you are , the game does not need bad attitude.
The Refs are not Gods( Dont act like you are sometimes)
Players need to treat the refs with respect too.Some off the games i have seen would have players been banned or fined in other sports.
Chill out take a deep breath , keep the Teddy in the Pram , to use the old cliche its only a game.
Learn how to conduct yourself and how to speak to people (its not the play ground at school )
Anyway think what you will , as i said im not having a dig at anyone in particular but if the cap fits wear it.

Just before I go , for people who are reading this thread and thinking im not going to a Series 2003 event , because its sounds like hassle. Your wrong . Call Bully and book in its a good series of events

Sorry ecosse you must be confused. Keltic one are the good looking ones.
As smart says is wasn`t deliberate and in the future we will make an effort to stay separate.
Greate tournament though, marshalling spot on in all our games. Big thanks to manike for jumping in at the last moment to help us out, cheers bud , plus big shout to jose from the hellfish after, for the third time at a tourney, shot him in the mummy daddy bit. Sorry bud .

Yup, took another in the joy department. Good stuff from Jabba, agreed on all points. Definately on the marshal's shirts mate...... watched one match where one of the teams and three marshals were wearing yellow shirts with black panels. Very confusing, how about nice puffa jackets for the Marshals? that way they'll get hurt less too.

As for organisation........ spot on, the site was superb (as always at skirmish) and Bully took on board players preferences and tailored the format to suit us not himself. The day ran like clockwork, with the fields either bang on time or ahead of schedule. A masterpiece of organisation all round. Excellent safe areas, good amenitities and Hpac on hand making the whole thing a pleasure to take part in. Hardly surprising that series 2003 is attracting so many teams. Plus lots of shutterbugs from PBUK. So photos aplenty.

Respect to the Keltic warriors for unnering nad accuracy (again). It's always a laugh until someone loses a bollock.

You'll have to wait 'till next issue..... might be in there. I'm pretty sure they managed to get every team at some point.

Anyone watching my nad shot will remember it... hyperball field, just after the break, running full pelt, then wack, went down like a sack of crap and crawled very,very slowly to the 50. Funny now I think about it.
